More Than 66,000 Customers Still Without Power in South Jersey

As of Tuesday morning, more than 66,000 customers in South Jersey were still without power as a result of the violent weekend storms. More than 140,000 in the area had lost power, but are back on the grid. Officials say that power might not be restored to all of the customers until sometime on Friday. That means that a decent chunk of South Jersey residents will have to spend the Fourth of July without instant access to essentials like videos of holiday-themed nail designs. Are they expected to simply show their patriotism with fingernail designs sans demonstration videos? I think not. And if you don’t have festive nails, well, don’t even bother showing up for hot dogs and fireworks because you’ve basically committed treason at that point. [Philly.com]
