Jersey Woman Sues Little Leaguer for Overthrown Ball

A Jersey woman has filed a lawsuit against a 13-year-old boy and his family because when the kid was 11 he was catching a bullpen session at a Little League game and overthrew the pitcher, striking the woman in the face. The woman had to have reconstructive surgery and—after failed attempts to reach a settlement with insurance companies—has filed a suit alleging that the kid hit her on purpose.
