Philadelphia Housing Authority Director Michael Kelly Resigns

Philadelphia Housing Authority Director Michael P. Kelly submitted his two-weeks notice today. Kelly had been the head of New York City’s housing authority, but left that gig to come to Philly amid the Carl Greene sexual harassment scandal. He came to the PHA in late 2010 and was made the permanent replacement for Greene as executive director last August. The PHA’s Director of Audit and Compliance Kelvin Jeremiah will serve as the interim director while the organization conducts a national search for a permanent replacement. [Inquirer]
