Defrocked Priest, Accused Pedophile Included in Holy Spirit Yearbook

A picture of David C. Sicoli—a priest defrocked by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in 2008—is included in a yearbook created to commemorate the history of Holy Spirit School. Sicoli was never criminally charged, but the Archdiocese determined 11 accusations of abuse against him to be credible. Some people blame Sicoli for the fact that the school is closing, following the Catholic school consolidation announced earlier this year. His photo is included on a page with a picture of the graduating eighth grade class of 1965. He is one of the 21 priests included in the secret files that have been a major focus of the criminal case against Monsignor William Lynn. [Daily News]
