This Short Film on Pete Rose Is the Saddest Thing You’ll See All Week

ESPN has announced that it will produce another volume of 30 for 30—the Peabody award-winning series of documentary films. The second volume will include 30 additional documentaries by 30 different filmmakers. This time, though, ESPN is including a series of short films that will debut on the grand Bill Simmons experiment website Grantland. If your day doesn’t already suck entirely—with it only being Tuesday and the awful weather—go ahead and watch the saddest video you’ll watch all week. It chronicles former Phillie Pete Rose as he makes a living signing autographs in a memorabilia shop inside a Vegas casino. [Grantland]
