Armed Gunmen Take Meatball Sandwich
A 13-year-old boy was robbed in Yeadon after purchasing a meatball hoagie for dinner. Two men hopped out of an SUV and threatened the boy with a gun while they searched his pockets. They didn’t find anything so they stole his dinner and left. The boy had a cell phone on him that wasn’t found by his assailants. He then used that phone to call police who apprehended all four men in the vehicle. An amateur mistake—but, then again, if these were anything but small-time criminals they’d probably be holding up a Subway or robbing Amoroso trucks. [NBC Philadelphia]
