Croce and crew uncover shipwrecks off the coast of Panama

Last week the internet was abuzz with news that Pat Croce was manning a team of divers in search of the body of Sir Francis Drake. Drake—a privateer—was buried at see after he died of dysentery and his crews were said to have scuttled and burned the ships to leave nothing behind for the Spanish. Today, the Daily News reports that Croce and his team found both of Drake’s ships off the coast of Panama. [Daily News]
