Friday, Sept. 9
The Liberty Bears celebrate 15 years with a happy hour at The Bike Stop (5-8 p.m.) with DJs Robert Drake and John Stanley spinning retro music. They’re looking to recruit a few good bears (cubs and otters are okay, too).
Ogle “Men Unwrapped” during the opening reception for a photo exhibition at the William Way by Joe Bowman (6 p.m.).

Walking Fish Theatre debuts a new play Task by Dave Ebersole during the Live Arts Festival (8 p.m.). The show deals with sex, drugs, coming out and teen pregnancy.
Camp Tabu gets ready for its one-year anniversary at Tabu with a Ladies Night Spectacular (9 p.m.) hosted by Christine Meehan and featuring Lisa Yost, Mary Radzinski, Madonna Marie Refugia, Nicole Yates and Mollie Sperduto.

Bike Philly (8 a.m.) from Eakins Oval in one of the largest (and family-friendly) two-wheeling events in the city.
Take a guided kayacking tour (10 a.m.) from the Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant just in time for lunch.
Get thee to Southern Jersey Gay Pride (11 a.m.-7 p.m.) at Cooper River Park. Look for live entertainment, food and special guest appearances, as well as a lineup of local organizations.
Prohibition nightclub at Resorts Atlantic City hosts the Sweetglew Anniversary (2-6 p.m.) benefiting the South Jersey AIDS Alliance. DJ Eddie Kay will be spinning hits.
Join the Preservation Alliance for an Architectural Walking Tour through Fishtown (2 p.m.).
