Montco Police Get Their Cold Case On

Charge woman with murder of infant in 1992

A woman in Upper Merion has been charged with the murder of an infant in 1992. The woman had been babysitting the baby for a few months when he allegedly died of SIDS. But, after the woman recently went around admitting to killing the baby, investigators reopened the case. After re-analyzing information from the autopsy and hearing the woman admit to killing the baby, police were able to deduce that she had suffocated the baby nearly twenty years ago. Detective Lilly Rush would be proud of Upper Merion Police Department. [6 ABC]
