Pedro Ramos Joins SRC

Governor Tom Corbett made the nomination this afternoon

Governor Corbett has nominated Pedro A. Ramos—who you may remember as the lead attorney for the district during the 2009 South Philadelphia High scandal—to fill the vacancy on the Philadelphia School Reform Committee. Ramos attended Central High and went on to UPenn before getting a law degree from Michigan. He’s held multiple government and education service commissions and served six years on Philly’s Board of Education.
