Terror Film Festival
This is the one time of year when your love of zombies won’t creep people out, so get your fix of gore at the six-night long Terror Film Festival. At more than 65 frightening horror, sci-fi, and thriller flicks by up-and-coming filmmakers, you may just wet your pants.
The horrors vary in length, from the two-minute short B.Z.P.C. (total budget: $30) to the 85-minute Diamond Zero, where celebrities get crushed up and turned into diamonds before being sold on the home shopping channel), so there’s someting for every ghoul and gal, no matter how much blood and guts you can stand.
Also, all students get in free with ID during the Tasty Shorts (3:30 p.m. on the 16th) which include five deliciously scary films hailing everywhere from California to France and, of course, locally. (Psst: Afterwards, present your ticket stub at Oh! Shea’s (19th and Sansom) for VIP Treatment and happy hour drink prices.)
