BUCKS COUNTY
The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works. Started in 1898 by oddball Henry Chapman Mercer, this National Historic Landmark once produced some of the most exquisite mosaics in the world. CHESTER COUNTY

DELAWARE COUNTY
Brandywine Battlefield Park. Losers are often more interesting than winners — which may be why Brandywine Battlefield Park, where in 1777 the good guys got spanked in the bloodiest day of the Revolutionary War, is so fascinating. 1491 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford; 610-459-3342.

MAIN LINE

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

PHILADELPHIA
