Pulse: Chatter: Buttering Nutter Up
It didn’t take long for the Michael Nutter suitors to come calling. Before a May campaign swing through town, Barack Obama — who’d backed Chaka Fattah — asked for and got a private 30minute meet-and-greet with the presumptive new mayor. A source inside the Nutter camp characterized the meeting as cordial, but says Nutter, who’s also being courted by the Clinton and Edwards camps, is taking a wait-and-see stand on the White House race. Oh, how nice it is to suddenly be the girl everyone wants to take to the prom.
