The fundraiser has already started, but there are still two more days to donate nonperishable food items to WMMR's Camp Out for Hunger. Preston and Steve — the juvenile-yet-lovable guys from WMMR's morning show — are camping out for a week in an RV at the Metroplex Shopping Center in Plymouth Meeting while broadcasting their show live. Last year's results were impressive, with 10 tractor trailers filled by 'MMR listeners — that's 86 tons of food. Everything collected goes straight to Philabundance, which distributes it to local organizations feeding the hungry in Delaware Valley. And if feeding those in need during the holiday season doesn't bring enough good cheer, chances to win prizes may: The person who donates the most food for each day wins a trip to the Sunshine State.
