"I may not need to say why this lady is so crushable because if you’re reading this blog you should already be familiar with the work of the lovely and talented Mz. Alyssa Mutryn. Always active in the community and especially with the kids through her work with The Attic Youth Center, her contribution to making Philly an all-around better place to live can never be discounted. This along with her new summer hair (golden natural curls: yes please!) makes her a huge crush."

Camae Defstar (Moor Mother Goddess)

"If you see Camae perform live, you will crush on her voice, her energy, and her model looks. I've been following Camae on the Philly rock scene from 'The Mighty Paradocs' to her most recent endeavor as 'Moor Mother Goddess' and I’m loving all of it. Her sound is as original as her look and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next."

TJD, The American Queen

"Some people brag and boast while others just quietly build. Whether bringing people together through 'Take Philly' or bringing ideas together through 'The Lesbian Dating Project,' I admire what she has tried to bring out of the scene. Now focused on her amazing art as 'The American Queen TJD,' I see nothing but the best happening for this amazing spirit: a true beauty inside and out."

"Through the dark crowd and splashes of dayglo art at a local Balkan music (yes Balkan!) concert, I see a face…I see a smile. We exchanged introductions and a few barbs and then she disappeared into the night. Fast forward a year and I now know that in addition to her fantastic smile, she is First Person Arts 'Ex-Files' Slam Winner, and she is constantly taking the lead in speaking out for the rights of both students and teachers in our school system, making her even more crush worthy."
