Philly Wine Week: Day 4

We’re half-way through Philly Wine Week, are your teeth stained yet? Here’s what’s going on for Wednesday, March 26th.

All week, Tria Taproom is putting us in a “New York State of Wine” over lunch. Glasses of draft Gotham Finger Lakes Riesling and Lieb Cellars Pinot Blanc from Long Island are just $5 from noon to 4 p.m. The wines are featured with an all-New York State cheese plate.

Tashan is offering a blind wine tasting from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The more answers you get right, the bigger the gift card you win.

Local dude turned New Zealand winemaker, Daniel Brennan of Decibel Wines is being featured during tonight’s wine dinner at Garces Trading Company. The four-course, $65 per person dinner (wine included) will include a simulcast from New Zealand where it is harvesting season. Brennan will be on the broadcast and will guests will be able to speak to the winemaker personally. Menu (PDF).

Kicking of at 9 p.m. at Jet Wine Bar is the “Wines of Rap.” Yep, rap. A DJ will be spinning the music featuring wine and the bar will be offering $5 glasses of Moscato, Rosé and Merlot.

The Toast at Ten will be at Vintage tonight.
