Two White Boys Bringing Us Ramen With Roundeye Noodle Bar

Friends Ben Puchowitz (Matyson) and Shawn Darragh (food and retail marketing) are hoping to open Roundeye Noodle Bar in Philadelphia. To generate buzz, investors and a landlord they’re hosting a noodle shop pop-up at Matyson on Sunday, January 29th. Despite being “two suburban white boys” the pair hopes to satiate our ramen yearnings. Vegetables and three noodle dishes will be offered during the pop-up.

• Duck Pho – duck leg dumplings, foie gras, pickled turnips $12
• Pork Belly Ramen – soy stained egg, shitakes, swiss chard $10
• Coconut Curry – udon, butternut, pak choi, peanuts $9

No reservations are being taken for the pop-up which will begin at 4 p.m. and run till when the food runs out.
