Wednesdays Are Half-Price-Can Days at Good Dog

While the city is awash with eat and drink specials, this might just be our favorite. Every Wednesday, recession or not, Good Dog’s canned beers are half off. While they have the dirt-cheap PBRs — and get extra points for referring to the 16-ounce cans as “pounders” on the menu — their selection also includes some canned micro and beer-snob favorites. You can get Sly Fox (lager, pils, and pale ale), Guinness, Boddingtons, and Strogbow Cider for $2 or $3 dollars each. These discounts mean one thing to us: Now we can spend more money on Good Dog’s always-killer food. — Lee Stabert
