Gov. Tom Wolf Declares: A Hot Dog Is a Sandwich

The governor weighed in on the hottest Internet debate during a Twitter town hall yesterday.

Yesterday, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf held a “Twitter town hall.” He took questions on serious matters about the state’s future, and he also answered this question on whether a hot dog is a sandwich. The governor said yes.

For the uninitiated, the “is a hot dog a sandwich” question has been an Internet debate for a few years now. It’s actually kind of a thing sports bloggers write about, because there are only so many ways to describe a close play at first base or a touchdown pass or whatever.

Anyway, the debate has been settled in Pennsylvania: The man who citizens elected governor by a wide margin says hot dogs are sandwiches. There shall be no more debate on the issue. And next time, someone ask Wolf about that black and blue dress.
