CB West Counselor Won’t Be Charged for Facebook Post

The woman who wrote she would "personally SHOOT every one of" the die-in protesters if they caused her child to miss the Eagles game will not face charges.

While saying her posts to Facebook were inappropriate and ill advised,” Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said today Marykate Blankenburg would not be charged for posts about the die-in protest at the Eagles game.

Blankenburg posted to Facebook before the die-in protest scheduled for after the Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field on December 7th.

“If my child cannot get to the Eagles game due to protesters, I will personally SHOOT every one of them,” the post on Blankenburg’s Facebook page read. “You’ve been warned idiots!!” She later blamed a child for the post.
