Zone Read: Eagles-Cowboys, the Day After

SNAP COUNTS

Offense:

Sproles played 35 percent of the snaps and had five touches. Huff showed a flash with a 44-yard catch and run in the second half where he broke three tackles.

It feels like somewhat of a lost season for Ertz. It’s tough for me to believe he couldn’t have helped this offense more. The guy seems to get open and win his one-on-one matchups whenever he’s on the field.

Didn’t realize this until now, but Jordan Matthews was held without a catch.

Defense:

Cole suffered an injury in the second half, so Graham got a bump. I have to re-watch, but he seemed to play well.

Casey Matthews also suffered an in-game injury, leading to playing time for Emmanuel Acho.

The Cowboys seemed to have more success on the ground against the Eagles’ second-team defensive line.

GUESSING THE LINE: EAGLES (-6)

The Birds go on the road to take on Washington Saturday afternoon. Jay Gruden’s squad has been a disaster, and the Eagles have plenty to play for. We’ll make them six-point favorites.
