The following Eagles are inactive for today’s 1 p.m. game against the Jaguars: QB Matt Barkley, WR Josh Huff, RB Chris Polk, CB Jaylen Watkins, OL Matt Tobin, OL Dennis Kelly and DL Taylor Hart.

With Polk sidelined (hamstring), the Eagles go with only two true running backs: LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles. As they did last year, the Eagles will only go with two quarterbacks: Nick Foles and Mark Sanchez.

Rookie Marcus Smith II is active. Billy Davis said earlier this week that Smith will have a “limited role.”

The Eagles have five wide receivers active: Jeremy Maclin, Riley Cooper, Jordan Matthews, Brad Smith and Jeff Maehl. All four tight ends – Brent Celek, Zach Ertz, James Casey, Trey Burton – will dress.

On the offensive line, the Eagles go with two reserves: David Molk and Andrew Gardner. Molk will back up Jason Kelce. Gardner will back up tackles Jason Peters and Allen Barbre. It’s unclear which offensive lineman would go in if either guard Evan Mathis or Todd Herremans were go to down.

No real surprises on defense. In addition to Smith, the Eagles have four other outside linebackers active: Connor Barwin, Trent Cole, Brandon Graham and Bryan Braman.

The Eagles have four cornerbacks active: Cary Williams, Bradley Fletcher, Brandon Boykin and Nolan Carroll II.
