Parents have been raving about this skill- and confidence-building organization that teaches girls and nonbinary kids ages six to 14 how to be their best at sports like basketball and lacrosse — and life in general. The program regularly pulls in top players from Penn, Temple, and Drexel to work with the kids and provide role models and mentorship. (Workshops are held in various places throughout the city.) Fun Philly trivia: Skilladelphia is run by coach Mac Casey and his wife, who just happens to be New York Times bestselling novelist Liz Moore.
