Lilypad Thrift
A group of moms, including Lilypad president Maria Hughes, opened this thrift shop a decade ago after lamenting the lack of kids consignment stores in a South Philly parents forum. Since moving to Passyunk Avenue in 2025, the nonprofit has become a destination for affordable, cute clothing for newborns through 12-year-olds — with labels like Carter’s, Hanna Andersson, and Ralph Lauren — plus toys, books, and gear.
