I don’t know about you, but I’m having a really hard time even thinking about the holidays right now, considering it’s 65 degrees and rainy outside. But considering Christmas is just five weeks away (!!!), it’s time to start making the mental shift to all things Yule log and Christmas trees and fireplaces and eggnog.

The Fairmount Park Conservancy can help: On Saturday, December 12th, they’re hosting the second annual Jingle Jog, guided runs through Fairmount Park to see the park’s historic mansions all decked out for the holidays. There will be two distances to choose from — five- and eight-mile runs — with the five-mile group hitting East Fairmount Park to see the Mount Pleasant Mansion and Laurel Hill Mansion, and the eight-milers continuing to Woodford Mansion, Strawberry Mansion, the Japanese House and Cedar Grove.

The runs start and end at Lloyd Hall on Boathouse Row, and there will be festive refreshments along the way. It’s $25 for non-Conservancy members and $15 for members. Proceeds benefit the Fairmount Park Conservancy.

All the registration info is here.
