Earlier this morning, registration officially opened for the second annual Yuengling Oktoberfest 5K, a run in Bethlehem with — you guessed it — free beer at the finish line.

This year’s race is on October 4th, coinciding with the final day of the Oktoberfest festivities taking place at Bethlehem’s SteelStacks facility. Runners can expect “Bavarian/German themed elements throughout the course,” according to the race website (including, we’re told, performances by a German dance troupe), plus a tech shirt; entrance to the Oktoberfest festival, complete with German food, beer and live entertainment; a beer stein; and a free Yuengling Oktoberfest Beer.

The race is capped at 3,500 participants, and it’s $40 to register. More info is here.
