Chris Christie Releases Bon Jovi-Themed Hurricane Sandy Video

It was silly of New Jersey Senate President Steven Sweeney to claim that Chris Christie “prayed” for Sandy for political reasons. But Christie (AKA “The Boss”) sure isn’t going to quiet his critics with the gauzy-but-moving, subtly horn-tootin’ Hurricane Sandy video he released today. The montage, called “Thank You New Jersey” is a bunch of clips of Christie saying inspirational stuff set to Bon Jovi’s “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” (shot in Philly). Get used to this stuff: the road to 2016 will be paved using the remnants of the Jersey Shore’s broken boardwalks.
