Nothing about cash-only August screams “Italian”—and that’s a good thing for a spot in Bella Vista, just steps from South Philly’s old standbys. Owners MaryAnn Brancaccio and Maria Vanni call their cooking style “Italian fusion”—pasta-stuffed spring rolls, lamb chop lollipops—and serve it from an open kitchen, the centerpiece of the warm, dimly lit dining room.

Poor atmosphere. Below average food. A little dirty and old looking even though it is a somewhat new restaurant. The only good point was that the staff were VERY nice. Oh, and I hate the idea that its cash only. Not everyone carries cash, and I didnt see an ATM anywhere close by. Posted by joseph: Apr. April 30th, 2013 at 5:35 PM
