The “300 Sandwiches” Blogger Is Now Engaged!

OH MY GOD I READ HER BLOG LAST NIGHT AND WONDERED IF HE WOULD DO IT WHILE THEY WERE ON VACATION!!!!!!!!!
That, dear readers, is what I just wrote back to my colleague who shot me the Cut’s story about the 300 Sandwiches chick, otherwise known as Stephanie Smith, getting engaged while in Barbados with her sandwich-eating now-fiance.
Because seriously, at like 10:30 last night, I was reading her blog. Ever since I posted about her back in September (read that for background on her story—which has since blown up into Rachael Ray appearances, a book deal, etc., etc.) I have become an actual reader—and not even to see when she gets engaged! Her sandwich recipes are awesome, and she eats quite a bit of grilled cheese for breakfast, and I very much like both of those things.
But this post wasn’t there yet!
Seems he got her at #257, which was a good move, I think. As was doing it in a setting like Barbados. I appreciate that she updated us all so immediately, but now, I would like the partiulcars, especially since at one point, Mr. 300 Sandwiches was crowd-sourcing proposal ideas.
Well I sure hope she keeps on keepin’-on, though, with the sandwiches. Seriously. They’re really good.
