The Children's Crisis Treatment Center held their annual Rodeo Roundup at the National Constitution Center on Friday, June 4th. James Ingram showed his support for this wonderful charity in a stellar performance. Supporters of the CCTC wore jeans and flannel shirts, red handkerchiefs, cowboy boots and hats, and other western-inspired gear. CCTC provides mental health services to abused, neglected or troubled children and their families, such as a therapeutic nursery, outpatient services, trauma assistance, and a West African Refugee Assistance program, among others. Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Donovan McNabb headed up a progressive dinner through Old City for his organization, Philly Flavor, to garner support for diabetes sufferers. The evening started with a cocktail party at Loew's Hotel and ended with a party at the Moshulu. McNabb's father, Sam, suffers from Diabetes. He and Mrs. McNabb are very involved with Philly Flavor as well.
 
Laurel House battered women's and children's shelter held a fundraising dinner at the Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne on Friday, May 14th. The theme was An Evening with Friends. Eagles coach Andy Reid and his wife Tammy were honorary co-chairs.
 
The People Pet Partnership held a fundraiser cocktail party and auction on Wednesday, May 12th at the Seraphim Art Gallery. The PPP works with area shelters and was created to offer potential pet adopters more opportunities to meet adoptable pets in neighborhood settings as opposed to a shelter. Their next outing? Philadelphia Magazine and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board presented two nights of Winemaker's Dinners - hosted at our area's upscale restuarants by high-profile winemakers from many of the world's most prestigious vineyards.
