Buh-bye, summer!
Okay, we still have that Pope thing to get through. (God help us … ) And we really didn’t need that last heat wave to blast us past Labor Day. But now the kids are back in school, the Phils are trundling off into well-earned obscurity (see ya, Ruben!), the Birds are gearing up for (mind those knees, Sam!) their best season ever, and the nights have a nip that reminds us: It’s fall, y’all! Pick some apples! Sing along with Hall & Oates! Get yourself some Pumpkin Spice everything! Look over there — that leaf just changed!
