Darren Daulton Now Pitching* for Yuengling

*Yes, we know he was a catcher.

Yup: Darren Daulton is a pitchman for Yuengling now.

Darren Daulton Enterprises is delighted to announce the continued business relationship with Dick Yuengling and the Yuengling Brewery. Daulton long known as the greatest club house leader in professional baseball will be making public appearances with the Yuengling sales team throughout the greater tri state area including Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Daulton stated “I am looking forward to getting out and meeting my extended Philadelphia family and the Phillies Nation. I have long been a huge fan of Dick Yuengling and staff; I appreciate the opportunity to continue our appearance schedule together.”

Daulton played 17 years of professional baseball including a National League pennant title in 1993 and World Series Champion with the Florida Marlins in 1997. Daulton’s resume includes (3) All Star appearances, Silver Slugger Award and Comeback Player of the year.

Daulton was inducted into The Philadelphia Phillies Wall of Fame and has continued his professional relationship with the current Phillies staff. Daulton is married to the former Amanda Dick of Clearwater Florida and has four children all located in close proximity to the Phillies spring training facility.

Unrelatedly, The Reading Eagle recently reported that Daulton is continuing to battle brain cancer, but that he’s looking tan and fit.
