The folks at Hungry Pigeon (our best restaurant in Philly) love to collaborate and experiment.

And on Monday, October 9th, they’re dedicating a whole evening to steamy, savory ramen, featuring Jason Chichonski of Ela and Little Noodle Pasta Co.

Chef-owners Scott Schroeder and Pat O’Malley, along with HP chef Mark Regan, are working with Chichonski and featuring his noodles on the menu. They’re also serving up Japanese-inspired snacks and cocktails.

While the ramen — doctored with pork belly or mushrooms and miso to suit your taste — is the star of the show, the bites (like teriyaki chicken heart skewers and uni chawanmushi, an egg custard, served with shaved celery) sound even more intriguing. Take a look at Monday’s full menu below.

Service starts at 5 p.m. and goes till 10 p.m. or sellout (which has a pretty good chance of happening). There are no reservations, to be sure to get there early to score a bowl.
