Feastival Is Coming

Feastival 2014.

Feastival 2014.

Feastival is back on Thursday, September 17th for it’s sixth year, and it’s going to be pretty crazy.

For those who don’t know much about it, let me explain.

Feastival is a benefit for FringeArts. The event brings together many of Philly’s top chefs and performing artists for one evening of dining, drinking, weirdness, occasional nudity, more eating, dancing and more drinking. It’s being held this year at The FringeArts Headquarters, 140 Race Street, and the event will run from 7 – 10 PM. If past years are any indication, the event will attract about a thousand of Philly’s beautiful people. Plus the staff of Foobooz.

So what’s on the menu? Well, thus far the list includes…

a.kitchen + bar, Abe Fisher, Alma de Cuba, Audrey Claire, Bank and Bourbon ,Bar Ferdinand, Barclay Prime, Bing Bing Dim Sum, Bistrot La Minette, Buddakan, Butcher & Singer, Cheu Noodle Bar, CoZara, The Dandelion, Dizengoff, Drexel University’s Center for Hospitality, Eclat Chocolate, El Vez, Ela, Ella’s Bistro, Federal Donuts, Fette Sau, Fork Restaurant, La Calaca Feliz, La Colombe Torrefaction, La Peg Brasserie, Lacrioz, Laurel, Lotus Farm to Table, Metropolitan Bakery, Morimoto, Noord, OIC, Opa, Oyster House, Parc, Percy Street BBQ, P.S. & Co, Pod, Pizzeria Stella, Sbraga, Shake Shack, Sweetbox, Tria, Twenty Manning Grill, THe Twisted Tail, Vintage Wine Bar, Whetstone Tavern, Will, Zama, and Zahav.

See anything you recognize?

Basically it’s every restaurant you love, all serving good food and drink in the same place, supporting the arts, and generally partying the night away. Sounds kind of amazing, no?

Tickets are on sale now at $300 a person, or $350 for early admission (which gives you 6 PM access to all the food and drink), and $500 for VIP admission (which includes early admission as well as access to the bar service and seating area in the Audi VIP Lounge). If that feels a little steep, act fast: from now until August 17th, there is a 25% discount fee for early birds (promo code is actually: EARLYBIRD). Tickets can be purchased on the event website.

It’s a one-night-only bacchanal of eating, drinking, partying, naked acrobats, flying champagne service, auctioning, art, restaurant previews, tacos, whiskey and more–all the things that make Philly so much fun. And we hope to see you all there.
