Smashburger Coming To Cherry Hill

So we in the Philadelphia region got our first Smashburger over the summer with an opening in Radnor, but now our neighbors across the river are getting their own location with the opening of the Cherry Hill Smashburger (56 Haddonfield Road) on December 11.

The new joint will be adding a bit of regional flare to the menu with its New Jersey Burger (applewood-smoked bacon, blue cheese, grilled onions, haystack onions, lettuce, tomato and mayo on an onion bun), but the bigger news might be that the company is planning to open 15 restaurants across Philadelphia and southern New Jersey over the next four years–which is not an outlandish claim from a company that has already opened 243 restaurants in just the past six years.
