The former Sonoma space has been transformed into Derek’s. (That’s Derek Davis, who also owned Sonoma.) The focus is now on wine, a list Davis proudly announced would be fit for his own home, and eclectic small-plate dining. Look for the restaurant’s great Sunday wine deal: Every bottle on the 150-plus list is half-price. But don’t worry, you can still get the Cal-Ital favorites that made Sonoma a favorite. Look for classics like roast chicken or shrimp ravioli that have been on the menu for almost 20 years and ever-popular infused-vodka cocktails, sweetened with Nerds, Hershey's Kisses, Twizzlers or Swedish Fish.

The foods great here and its the best place for a Sunday after a long weekend. About $15 gets you an amazing breakfast and all you can drink bloody marys and mamosas. You may also run into Charles Barkley or Victorino who I've seen there a time or two.

Every neighborhood should have a place like this. I can come in whenever I want [they don't close between lunch and dinner, nor do they ever turn me away late at night!] and have a nice glass of wine and some larger than the norm "small plates." I can bring a date to impress, or i can do business in a private room. I love most of the food and adore the staff. The flatbreads they give you are to die for, no charge. I love the crabcake and the ribs. Sunday Brunch is awesome, so laid back and the half price wine list keeps me here through dinner. I'm so glad I live in Manayunk!
