Mayor Kenney Calls Rudy Giuliani “Nosferatu”

Jim Kenney is at it on Twitter again.

Jim Kenney may be mayor, but he’s still a Philadelphian. And, fortunately, he still has his Twitter account. Yesterday, tweeting from his informal @JimFKenney account — as opposed to his staid @PhillyMayor one — Kenney decided to weigh in on top Donald Trump advisor (and possible attorney general for President Trump) Rudy Giuliani. “Rudy Giuliani just told me that The Donald is fit to be commander in chief,” Kenney tweeted. “Hahahah! 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Can’t make this shit up!”

Yes, our mayor sometimes tweets like a teenager. He’s probably the one yelling “back door, dickhead” at SEPTA bus drivers.

It was the 15th time Jim Kenney had tweeted “shit” from his Twitter account. Most of his “shit” tweets were directed in replies to journalists, which makes sense because we are notoriously foul-mouthed. (Not me, mom!) A full 33.33333 … percent of those “shit” tweets were directed at Philly Voice reporter Brian Hickey.

But it’s what Kenney said in reply to someone about the Giuliani tweet that was most interesting.

Yes, that’s right: While he was preparing to watch the Eagles suffer yet another crushing loss yesterday, Jim Kenney took time out to compare Rudy Giuliani to Nosferatu. I assume he means the iconic performance by Max Schreck as Count Orlok in the 1922 film version of the tale. Here’s a comparison:

Now that’s just mean, Mr. Mayor. However, he might be able to scare a few voters who believe in ancient Transylvanian folklore into voting for Hillary tomorrow with this tactic. Maybe that tweet is the one that will sway the election.
