Pop-Up Prince Run (With Music the Whole Way!) Happening Tonight

A few minutes ago, news came in that Prince passed away this morning. And in true Jon Lyons fashion (always on the ball, this guy), the Run215 founder just called to tell me that he and Philadelphia Runner will be putting on a run dedicated to Prince tonight — blasting Prince music the whole way from what he calls “the mobile hype unit.” (Essentially a stroller with a boom box.) And I’m pretty sure we could alllll use some endorphins right now, so you should probably plan on going.

If you want to join in on the three-to five-mile run, they’ll be heading out of Philadelphia Runner’s Center City store (at the corner of 16th and Sansom Streets) at 6 p.m. tonight, then heading back to the store afterward for some brews, buy-one-get-one deals on Stance Socks and, I can only imagine, a bit of Prince dance-partying, too.
