Remember the word darty? You probably haven’t said it since you were in college and had time to darty. In case you’ve forgotten, it’s the words day and party combined — simply a more fun way of saying “day party.” Anyway, my point: Philadelphia Runner is having a darty for the Boston Marathon, and you are invited.

Starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 18th, the Center City store will be stocked with donuts, coffee, and beer — for those who really want to darty. (As Run215’s Jon Lyons just said to me, “beermosas alllllllll dayyyy.”) The Boston Marathon watching will kick off at 9:32, when the elite women get started, and will go until the marathon ends. You can hang out for the whole thing, or just stop in whenever you can. You can also drop by the store this weekend to enter your time predictions for the top male and female finishers. The folks closest to the times will get prize packs with swag from Adidas, Southern Tier and Run215.
