Did You Miss Our Secret Pop-Up at Body Cycle Studio?

The Be Well Philly Underground at Body Cycle Studio

The Be Well Philly Underground at Body Cycle Studio

Well, I’m sore. Last night, our once-a-month fitness pop-up, the Be Well Philly Underground, headed to Body Cycle Studio near Rittenhouse for a sweat-tastic Halloween-themed spin class. If you’re all, “What?! I didn’t know Be Well Philly had an event last night!” that’s because our pop-ups are totally top secret and totally exclusive, open only to members of the Be Well Philly Underground community. That’s how we roll.

Instructors Shoshana Katz and Robbie Pullen didn’t disappoint. They led the charge with a high-energy sprint-and-hills class that had us sweating in no time. If you’ve never taken a BCS class, you’re missing out: The insane energy from the instructors—yes, Shosh will dance for you—and the thump-thump-thump of the music pull you in and keep you engaged the entire time. You almost forget your legs are burning like whoa.

The best costume of the night because, duh.

After class, the Undergrounders were treated to juice samples from our pals at Sip-N-Glo Juicery—Have you tried their seasonal Fall Festival juice with apple, carrot, sweet potato (!), lemon and pumpkin spice? It is to DIE for.—and a healthy trick-or-treating bag packed with all sorts of goodies for a little post-calorie-burn pick-me-up.

And, of course, it being Halloween week and all, a few of our bad-ass Undergrounders even came in costume, our favorite being the human piece of pizza. Yes, it was awesome.

Don’t miss out on next month’s Be Well Philly Underground event. I can’t give away the details, of course, but I will tease you with this: There will be glow sticks. Intrigued?

Sign up for the Underground so you never miss a beat.
