Gluten Free Philly Blog Now Has an App

Pay attention, gluten-free eaters: There’s a new app you need to download pronto. The Gluten Free Philly blog announced the launch of its brand-spanking new mobile app, giving you an easy-to-navigate guide to gluten-free eating that’s specifically tailor-made for the Philadelphia area.

Searchable by name, location or cuisine, the app’s database includes more than 1,200 gluten-free restaurants, bakeries, cafes, caterers and more.

It covers the following geographic areas:

• In Pennsylvania: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
• In New Jersey: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon (Lambertville), Mercer, Ocean and Salem counties.
• In Delaware: New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties.

You can also view restaurant menus, create lists of your favorite restaurants, and read Gluten Free Philly reviews. Right now, the app is only available for iPhone and iPad but founder GFP Michael Savett says a version for Android is in the works. The app costs $2.99.
