To Do: Yoga-Puncture at Mama’s Wellness Joint

LargeLogoI love a good health-and-fitness mash-up event. The latest? Yoga-puncture (that’s yoga and acupuncture, folks) at Mama’s Wellness Joint.

On November 16th, the Washington Square West yoga studio will host a two-hour session focused on detoxing and de-stressing before the holiday season. Philly yoga instructor Liana Cameris will start the workshop by leading a rejuvinating Vinyasa flow. Then, licensed acupuncturist Caroline Grace Ashurst will take over with an aromatherapy-infused ear acupuncture treatment, which helps promote blood flow and detox. Neat, right? Learn more and sign up here. (Click the Workshops tab.)

$45 until November 9th, $55 after; November 16th from 2 to 4 p.m.; Mama’s Wellness Joint, 1100 Pine Street, Philadelphia.
