Get NFL Player-Fit For Your Wedding With Former Eagle Tra Thomas’s Bridal Boot Camp

It’s hard to imagine training with a former NFL player and not looking amazing in your wedding dress, isn’t it?

That was our first thought, anyway, when we heard that former Eagles offensive tackle Tra Thomas was offering a special promotion geared towards brides on the boot camp offered at his South Jersey fitness facility. (Thomas opened 7 Deuce Sports about a year after his retirement from the NFL in the spring of 2011.)

The deal is called Train Like a Beast, Look Like a Beauty, and the idea behind it is that you and three of your besties from the wedding party (three of your ‘maids? Your groom, MOH and his best man?) can sign up for either eight one-hour classes—more on the specific classes in a second—for the price of $72 per person (it’s usually $132) or unlimited access to the class schedule per month for $129 per person (it’s usually $172).

Classes range from TRX (the Navy Seal workout that uses gravity, your own body weight, and suspension straps to develop strength, flexibility and core stability) and Kinesis Training (combining traditional exercises like chest presses and squats to maximize calorie burning and muscle building) to GFX (sport and military fitness-style training; think workouts on turf and in sandpits) and 7DS Mix (the facility’s signature class that combines TRX, Kinesis and GFX workout methods, changing it up every 20 minutes for an hour).

Every instructor is a certified teacher, and Thomas himself sometimes makes an appearance and teaches a class. The promotion is also available to be renewed for up to three months with the special pricing, so there’s absolutely no chance you’ll do anything but wow as you strut down that aisle. 175 Route 70, Medford, 877-727-2348.
