A Hunger Games-Inspired Wedding
Today, something crossed our desks that we couldn’t click on fast enough: A Hunger Games Styled Wedding! What on Earth could this mean, I thought, as I waited for the page to load.
It actually ended up meaning two different things, and each of them are so fun. Cali-based wedding blog Green Wedding Shoes, with the help of some of their vendor friends, put together two shoots—one of them is a take on a Katniss-and-Peeta wedding (that’s all I’ll say; no spoiler comments here!), and the other offers ideas for superfans who might like to incorporate a little of the Games into their own nuptials.
Whether you think rocking a little flavor of the Games on your wedding day is taking it a bit far, or not, I have to say: These photos are really pretty. Pinecone flowers! Wood burning! Origami mockingjays! Glitter-topped arrows! So pretty that whether you’re a fan or not, you’re honestly bound to find some inspiration for your rustic soiree.
