Every week, Philly gay gents share their local picks for Man Crush Monday. Today, former G Philly contributor and author of Gay on a Budget, a “style blog perfect for non-elite, messes who like to think outside the traditional style box.”

Jayson Flores
My name is Jayson Flores. I’m a Philly kid, born and raised, currently living in Olney. As a recent college graduate I spend my days riding the struggle bus through life, trying to find where I’m meant to be, and crying myself to sleep over looming loan repayment. In the meantime, or perhaps more accurately, for fun, I like to work on my style blog, Gay on a Budget. It’s a style blog perfect for non-elite, messes who like to think outside the traditional style box. It’s this same out-of-the-box thinking that guides my local man crushes.

Gunnar Montana
I swear it’s not his muscles that make me swoon (though, they don't hurt). What’s most attractive about Gunnar is that he’s so dedicated to his work. He doesn’t just stand around looking cute. Alongside the dreamworthy selfies on his Instagram are videos and images of him crafting and practicing for his performances and shows. Passion and dedication are very sexy to me. Unfortunately, I have yet to actually meet him in person, but someday we’ll meet and I’ll think about how awkward it is that I’ve written about how hot he is for G Philly countless times.

Robert Nonemacker
I’ve only met Robert once, and it was only for a short time—on the Independence Business Alliance’s 2nd annual IBA Sails with Pride. I remember thinking I might be the cutest on the boat, then he was literally the second person I saw, and I was like nevermind! Long story short, he’s super cute, super sweet, and he worked with MANNA, an organization that I love and respect so much.

Conrad Benner
If you don’t know who he is, you need to. What I love most about Conrad is that he totally has the skills and portfolio to brag, but he is so humble and kind. Like, if Rihanna buys one of your photos you are more than entitled to be the bougiest queen around for a good minute. But instead of bragging, he spends his time capturing and sharing some of the best art this city has to offer, the kind that’s outside the museums (my favorite kind). I’d love to tag along on one of his photo shoots one day and see how he works, because I am a style blogger with zero camera skills.

Rudy Flesher
The first time I saw Rudy was at 2013 Pride. He was on the mic, MCing the area of the parade near the Liberty Bell. He had me, and my friends, gagged the entire time. I am a sucker for funny guys, and Rudy is not just funny— he's a master on the mic. Plus, I deeply admire and respect his work with performance and gender. It also doesn’t hurt that he has a really nice fanny.

Ian Michael Crumm
This boy has the indescribable “it factor” that separates the dreamers from those who succeed. This Philly style blogger has definitely made a name for himself in the fashion world, and made a fan out of me the moment I met him. He’s hard working, dedicated, and most importantly friendly. He’s undoubtedly an inspiring individual, as he shows that not all style bloggers (or stylish people in general) come from New York or L.A.
