Every hump day a Philly person shares their local picks for Woman Crush Wednesday. Today, Jamie Gordon, award-winning realtor and co-mastermind at Cityspace real estate company. She also authors her own lifestyle blog, La Maison Vie.

Jamie Gordon
I'm Jamie Gordon. My Woman Crush Wednesday is paying homage to LGBTQ and strong allies who also just so happen to be successful women business owners. These fierce women aren’t asking “how to get a raise” they are following their internal, relentless fire to start and grow their own businesses. They are mothers, rock stars, inspirations, natural-born leaders, and completely crush-worthy. These are my #WCW:

Lesha Meyer
Anything but a "Southern bell," this ragin' Cajun and Alexandria, Louisiana native has made Philadelphia her home for the last 15 years. Lesha leaped off the corporate cliff to follow her dream of helping people achieve theirs. She is the co-owner of CrossFit Novum, and a fierce leader and competitor who teaches her clients and friends about self-confidence, and how to face their fears, and achieve their personal goals. She is a good dose of spicy sunshine.

Sarah Brown
Sarah might be my adventurous sister from another life. Sarah is never afraid of adventure. She has explored and lived all over the globe. We Philadelphians are lucky that she landed here. She is the co-owner of three local establishments: PYT, Emmanuel, and the new Polynesian-themed Tiki Bar The Yachtsman. When she's not wrangling in the city's beverage-bound, she is on the slopes, at crossfit, or hopping on a plane at a moment's notice. She is a level-headed lady with many lifetimes to live.

Wendy Fox
Known as the mother hen to many, this green-eyed beauty with a fierce look is vivacious. She is a regional account executive for Honora and co-owner of her own event company, S.H.E Productions where she produces crush-worthy LGBTQ events from Baltimore to Philadelphia. However Wendy isn't all-work-no-play. She spends her time traveling, writing, and is an incredible chef and food stylist. There is nothing this legend can’t do.

Brigit Brust
Not only is Brigit my wife, but she’s one of the smartest women I know. It’s not always easy to live together, love together and work together. However, when you do it with your love and best friend it’s entirely worth it. Brigit created Cityspace in 2005. I joined her in 2009, and together we broke the big-box corporate real estate model. We created a progressive, people-centric boutique real estate company that's now 60-plus agents strong. Brigit is constantly educating our agents, clients, and anyone who will listen to be the best version of themselves and their investments. She is an inspiration to me, our real estate family, and other female-owned businesses.

Kathrine Cohen
My mother Earth, animal whisperer, and LGBTQ ally. Do you ever have someone that you can talk to at any time and know that everything is OK? Well that is Katherine, but don’t let that calm energy fool you; she’s solid inertia. Katherine has developed many successful companies in her lifetime, the most recent of which is Voila Design, a popular home-staging and design company in Philadelphia. She recently sold Voila to her partner Tiffany Fasone (also crush-worthy!) To begin a new approachable painting company called The Painting Lab. When not running her companies this single mom is fighting for the rights of the LGBTQ community and our four-legged friends, all while raising her daughter Lenin, who could possibly take the cake for cutest kid on Facebook.

Vanessa Kreckel
Vanessa is the yin to my yang and the most creative person I know. She is an ambitious mother of two and manages to find time to run her world-renowned company Two Paper Dolls. TPD is an unmatched letterpress and design studio, specializing in creating custom stationary, invitations, and corporate branding. Her work is everywhere. I don’t know how she manages to do it all and stay calm at the same time. Vanessa is a visionary. Her passion shows in everything she does. A lover of textiles, dogs, vintage pieces and good design; she is a masterful enigma.
