Former Phillie Is LA’s “Most-Wanted” Deadbeat Dad

Remember Danny Tartabull? AKA the worst contract in Phillies history?

Danny Tartabull’s numbers as a Phillie: three games, seven at-bats, zero hits, $2 million and an early retirement at the age of 34.

That $2 million he earned in 1997 apparently hasn’t lasted him. Los Angeles County has ranked him the very worst deadbeat dad in the land. He’s so unwilling to pay $250,000 in child support he has became an actual fugitive to flee the arrest warrant put out for him last year. There’s even an official “Wanted” poster with his name on it floating around L.A. [ABC News]
