Eagles Cheerleaders Will Shoot Swimsuit Calendar at Jersey Shore in Eco-Friendly Bikinis

Got you with “eco-friendly,” didn’t I?

The Eagles cheerleaders will be down the Shore May 6-9 posing for their 2013 swimsuit calendar, and they plan to shoot at such iconic spots as the Cape May Lighthouse and Lucy the Elephant in Margate. The team says calendar proceeds will go to Hurricane Sandy relief:

The cheerleaders will share their favorite shore memories in the calendar as well as historic information about the locations featured. In addition to wearing eco-friendly bikinis, many of the accessories were made by businesses in NJ and will reinforce the theme of the calendar, such as a recycled silver pendant in the shape of the state of New Jersey with the word ‘Strong’ imprinted, a necklace made from repurposed beach tags, and a cuff bracelet with a map of NJ counties embossed.

Could the Eagles cheerleaders’ collective magnetic beauty pull the ocean-stranded Seaside Heights roller coaster back onto the pier? Chris Christie should at least try.
