"I am a really lucky girl," she says
Gigi Chao, the daughter of the Hong Kong billionaire who offered $65 million to any man who would marry his daughter – even though she’s already married to another woman – has spoken out about her father’s headline-making dowry.
The 33-year-old actually defended her dad, saying that he’s more concerned with social status than he is with acceptance. “It’s not that he can’t accept me,” she says. That’s putting it mildly considering that she’s married to Sean Yeung. “I’m very happy when I’m with her,” says Chao, adding that “I am a really lucky girl to have such a loving daddy, because it’s really sweet of him to do something like this as an expression of his fatherly love.”
