IBM Buys Wayne-Based Firm for $1.3 Billion

IBM has purchased Kenexa—a human-resource systems software and research company based in Wayne with clients like Starbucks, Verizon, and the U.S. Navy—for a reported $46 per share. If you remember to carry the one, that comes out to $1.3 billion in cold, hard cash. Or 37,153,472 Nerf N Strike Rayven CS-18 Blasters (less if you want to get some extra glow-in-the-dark dart clips, though). Whichever the folks over at Kenexa would prefer. The Nerf arsenal will probably be more fun, though. [Philly.com]
